Villa La Marchesina
SAVELLETRI, FASANO (BR) · 2024
Villa La Marchesina was conceived as a contemporary tribute to the ancient Apulian masserie, nestled among centuries-old olive trees in the contrada Coccaro area and the beautiful Savelletri coastline, just a few minutes from the historic center of Fasano.
The project, designed by architect and designer Graziana Calabrese, interprets the concept of Quiet Luxury through a refined blend of understated Apulian elegance, natural materials, and artisanal details.

A language that bridges past and present
The villa, spanning over 600 square meters, unfolds longitudinally with five suites, three kitchens, a terrace with a jacuzzi pool, gym, loggias, a garden with citrus grove and vegetable garden, as well as a large swimming pool with solarium.
The formal, material, and decorative choices recall the archetype of the traditional masseria: white walls, arches, and pergolas, reinterpreted in a modern and functional way.
Each space is designed to convey calm and simplicity, using stone, wood, and burnished brass, with visual continuity between day and night areas.

Craftsmanship and customization
For the customization of the interiors, Graziana Calabrese collaborated with Team Bronzetto, a Florentine artisanal workshop renowned for its high-quality metalwork.
Unique pieces were created, such as hand-hammered and burned brass wall sconces, artistic details for the living room niches, and custom burnished brass handles for each suite — inspired by fruits and plants typical of Puglia: olive, pomegranate, lemon, fig, and carob.

Spaces and atmosphere
The entrance, bright and central, features a brass niche with a sculpted wooden trunk, creating a strong contrast with the rest of the villa.

Comfort and functionality
Lighting designed with floor lamps, artistic chandeliers, and wall sconces created by Bronzetto
