Palazzo delle Stimmatine
Lecce, Puglia · 2025
This project is a concept proposal dedicated to the interior design of Palazzo delle Stimmatine — a vision exploring how the building’s historic soul could meet a contemporary idea of elegance.

Located in the heart of Lecce, the palace is reinterpreted as a dialogue between memory and modernity. The concept draws inspiration from the city’s Baroque heritage — its sculptural light, ornate geometry, and warm materiality — translated into a refined and timeless architectural language.

Soft neutral tones define the envelope, enhanced by touches of terracotta, brass, and walnut that add warmth and depth. The interiors combine textured lime plaster, Trani stone, and light fabrics to create a luminous atmosphere rooted in the Mediterranean palette.

Each room becomes a study in proportion and tactility. Custom furnishings reinterpret classical forms with contemporary precision — slender silhouettes, handcrafted joinery, and subtle metallic details. Bespoke lighting accentuates the vaults and layered surfaces, giving rhythm to spaces designed for quiet sophistication.

The result is a narrative of restrained luxury: an interior that honors the architecture of Lecce while projecting it into the present. Palazzo delle Stimmatine emerges as a serene synthesis of history, craftsmanship, and light.
